Jason is a law costs consultant with over 25 years’ experience. Based at our London office, Jason specialises in high value clinical negligence claims and complex Court of Protection cases.
Jason began his journey into the legal profession in the accounts department of a solicitor’s firm. This gave him invaluable insight into the profession and specifically the legal processes involved.
It was this knowledge that led Jason to legal costs and then Aestima. Working on all areas of civil costs, with a particular emphasis on challenges for paying parties from medical defence and healthcare organisations, Jason understands exactly what is required from an experienced costs consultant.
He is known for his tenacity in challenging opponents, maximising reductions to costs and optimising costs recovery. He is particularly efficient, ensuring claims can be swiftly resolved. Jason is also happy to provide costs seminars and talks to clients who require specialist advice. This is an additional service often requested thanks to his strong working relationships with the firms he supports.
Jason is a keen cyclist who has participated in a number of events for charity, including the London to Paris and Coast to Coast rides.
